Hot Air! Comment of the day..

Sure, go ahead and ask this gutless wonder about our chances in 2012.
This is in response to an Allahpundit post about a Mittens comment on 2012, Romney: Let’s face it, Obama’s going to be very tough to beat.

RINO idiots like Romney never seem to miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

We’re 39 days from the midterms, and this damnable MORON is giving succor to our political enemies with this ‘managing expectations’ BS. The same LOSER crapola Michael Steele pulled last winter when the RNC took a junket to Hawaii and downplayed any hopes of a big win in the Fall.

I tolerated and carried water for Dole in '96 and McCain in '08 and I'll be damned if I am going to watch some RINO-freaking-squish hand it over to the First Turd just because the Tea Party Republicans got control of the house and brought the trillions of dollars sitting on the sidelines back into play by eliminating all the sorry crapola that the Obama acolytes foisted off on us.

Nah, Mittens, you suck. Give me someone who will fight for us instead of raising the surrender flag two years early.

Besides, like rayra above says, we've got a little dance 39 days from now to get ready for before we start worrying about 2012.

  1. I'm a lot more concerned about 2012 than I am about 2010 right about now. I think we'll see Hillary humiliate zero and run for the presidency and whoever the Republicans put forward will face Hillary/Bill.

My concern is that the Tea Party will loose some steam between now and then as the obama star fades, and we can't let that happen.

  2. WE lost with a RINO last time. We don't need someone willing to "cross the aisle in friendship". We need someone willing to wall up that aisle. NO is a beautiful word!

  3. Mitt may be the worst possible choice the Republican could have in 2012. How could he oppose in principle what Obama has done to health care, when Romney has already implemented a similar program in Massachusetts?
I'd say Romney loses Republican votes by not inspiring them and loses Dem votes because, why should they vote for Obama Lite when you can have the real thing?

BTW, Inspired by your sidebar, I have joined Bloggers for Carly. Is there a secret handshake or ring that comes with that?

  4. I did a piece a while back called "Romneycare Writ Large". You might be able to tell I'm no fan of Mitt in 2012.

  6. Gentlemen:

All salient comments. LL, I too worry about our thinking we've won and easing up on the gas pedal. Plus, there will be a "backlash" coupled with some "disillusionment" over any new RINO's otr the GOP's incessant predilection for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

As Odie says, we need to kick as and forget about taking names.

Proof, no secret handclasp insofar as I know. I started working a lot for the Carly campaign just now. The inside baseball we are being handed says that Boxers negative ads and the fact that Carly has not come out with no media ads yet still has Boxer up by only a couple of points and certainly within the MOE.

Boxer has an 8-to-1 advantage in money so we are fighting a guerrilla war here. Blog and viral internet support is a big plus because it costs nothing and is done by volunteers who want Carly in and want that arrogant bitch out.

Fredd, I was just talking with one of my high school buds up in Oregon and we note that the Dux -- while steamrollering the "pre-season" opposition -- will be in for a rough October. I don't know what type of game UCLA will give them but it won't be the team that showed up for Stanford. Of course, I am eager to see The Dux waste the University of Soiled Condoms and I'd like to see them hand one to Stanford. (That will be a helluva game.)

I'm thinking the Dux will be 3-1 for October. They will handle UCLA, USC, and Stanford. But they lose to a Washington State team who will be lurking in the bushes between heavy duty opponents.

Probably be their only blemish of the season.

  7. The Ducks allowed 600 plus yards of O yesterday, and that always troubles me. But if they can score 45 points on the road (their average so far this year), and 60+ at home (again, their average) each and every game, I don't see a shitty defense as a problem.

Of course, if the D allows 50, then there would be a few L's in the Ducks future (or, as we said a few years ago, the 'Ucks: no D'.

Strange that you pick Wazoo as the David to topple the Duck's goliath offense. I could see the Bruins, USC or Stanford stepping up and eating our lunch (or not). WSU has been known to give us hell, even when they are bad (like this year).
