Fort Hood Redux

From my friend high school friend and track team mate, Thomas, the only conservative in Oregon:

The doctor had his TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings at Ft. Hood , TX came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there.

He called her into his office and as he told her what had happened, she got a text message from her husband saying, "I am okay." Her cell phone rang right after she read the message. It was an ER nurse,” I’m the one who just sent you a text, not your husband. I thought it would be comforting but I was mistaken in doing so. I am sorry to tell you this, but your husband has been shot 4 times and he is in surgery."

The soldier's wife left Southern Clinic in Dothan , AL and drove all night to Ft. Hood . When she arrived, she found out her husband was out of surgery and would be OK. She rushed to his room and found that he already had visitors there to comfort him. He was just waking up and found his wife and the visitors by his side. The nurse took this picture.

What? No news crews and cameras? This is how people with class respond and pay respect to those in uniform. I sent my cousin in Fayetteville , N.C. (Retired from Special Forces) that picture of George W. visiting the wounded at Ft. Hood... I got this reply:

What is even better is the fact George W. Bush heard about Fort Hood, got in his car without any escort, apparently they did not have time to react, and drove to Fort Hood. He was stopped at the gate and the guard could not believe who he had just stopped. Bush only asks for directions to the hospital then drove on. The gate guard called that "The President is on Fort Hood and driving to the hospital."

The base went bananas looking for Obama. When they found it was Bush, they immediately offered escort. Bush simply told them to shut up and let him visit the wounded and the dependents of the dead.

He stayed at Fort Hood for over six hours, and was finally asked to leave by a message from the White House.

Obama flew in days later and held a "photo" session in a gym, and did not even go to the hospital.

I was told this by my sister..."The Nurse" who took the picture!
Oh yeah, but he did give a shout out to some government workers for their work in organizing "an incredible conference"..

..what a sack of sh!t.

  1. I was never a fan of Bush's big-spending domestic policies, but I've always felt that he was a good man trying to do what he thought was right to the best of his ability, even in the midst of rampant DC corruption.

That stands out in stark contrast to the Thug-in-Chief, who from Day One I could clearly see wasn't just wrong, but was actually a bad person. I'm not one who thinks that Obama is the Anti-Christ, but it's obvious that they have the same employer.

  2. I saw this a while back and have wondered if it was true, or just another fabricated story aimed at making BO look foolish. Given the type of Human I believe Mr Bush to be, I tend to believe it actually happened. Additionally, BO does not need any more help looking foolish!

  3. Bush really cared about the military and about people. Obama only cares about #1.

  4. Do you people ever do just a wee bit of research before repeating lies to justify your hate?

How hard is it to search the web for this story - it took me about 10 seconds to copy a sentence from the story into google and I found links from snopes.com factcheck.org and even foxnews.com which debunked the gist of this story.

It will be your hatred that will destroy you, not the negro president!

  5. ..oh, cool! A troll. Or would that be a troll-ette?

No we do not do any fact checking before we write these things. I mean, let's face it, it's really hard for us to see the keyboard through he slits in our pillow cases. And, let's face it, typing is really a bitch when we're wearing our sheets.

Of course, *you* believe everything you read on the internet, don't you? If so, then believe this:

..and other bravo sierra like Wikipedia is in the tank for Palestinians and Obama..

Christ, madam, I am not mad and certainly the lovely M.A. is not mad. You should take a moment and go read her blog. She is a wonderful mother who loves life, her children and this country.

Me? I must be a bitter old cold warrior so consumed by hate for The Pantload President that I just cannot see my way to giving him the benefit of the doubt on anything. I mean, the clown has been fawned over by the kneepad media who will not ask a hard question of him and has consistently demonstrated himself as an incompetent, bumbling boob.

But my anger is misplaced because the bloodbath that is coming in 2010 and 2012 will wash all of the flaky liberal Dems out to sea for *years* and you will be reduced to wandering your precious internet (if Tipper Gore doesn't win the rights to it in the divorce) in a wasteland of conservative thought..

..all because of your precious Magic Negro.

Stop back by anytime for more hate and abuse. We got an oil spill special going on now: two invectives for the price of one.

  6. No, of course I don't believe everything that's published. But when I can find the same news stories on Fox News and its politically-opposite New York Times, and I don't sense any reason why the stories would be tainted or falsified, sure, I believe those sorts of things. Like the events following the Ft. Hood slayings regarding the 2 presidents mentioned.

And when Wikipedia or Snopes or Urbanlegends.about.com all agree about something, it seems likely it's true, or at least good enough for me. ESPECIALLY with reputable sources cited.

In this case, the exaggerated and mostly untruthful story you reposted on this page is comprised of easily-proven lies. No big deal, I just find it odd that literate people such as you would repost something like this - I get these B.S. emails from my lib friends as well as the cons and I don't believe any of them. And I would certainly not post or forward accusations like that without spending the minimal effort to see if it was indeed B.S.

Just curious why you included that URL for UrbanLegends.about.com in your reply - read it; it totally supports my view that snopes.com is NOT driven by or reflective of any political ideology, and is superior to others regarding research and attributions.

Ah, it's late. sorry to ramble. BTW, I do not believe you about your KKK affiliation. I spent many years amongst the real ones in GA and SC, you seem different, but still dangerous.
