It (and the museum) is now in <a href="http://www.sasmuseum.com/" rel="nofollow">Ashland, Nebraska</a> and from its looks, might be worht visiting if you're out on I-80 doing a cross-country.<br><br>You have no-o-o-o-o idea how big one is. I mean it almost dwarfs a B-52. Sometime, if you see the old Jimmy Stewart movie, Strategic Air Command, there are some splendid shots of it in flight. And the interiors are pretty authentic as well.<br><br>Joe was a radioman on one and that included operating the rigs using AM, CW (Morse code), and later SSB. His tales of what that involved (cranking the HF antenna in and out, operating procedures, etc.) were enthralling to me.
